I'm thinking of buying an airplane, but was looking to rent/fly a few older tailwheel airplanes for comparison.

Does anyone know anywhere you can get some dual in a tailwheel, preferably something older like a cub or aeronca?

Anywhere in MD, northern VA or souther PA would be best.

Md

Lee Airport in Annapolis. There is a Husky dealer on the field. There are some Citabrias. I believe the Navy flying club may have one, if you have some sort of DOD affiliation.

FME: Fort Meade has civilian flying with some tail wheel.

I've got just what your looking for. Waynesburg Airport offers dual training and solo flight in a piper cub. The FBO is Eagle 1 Aviation. The phone number is 724-627-4000. Good luck.

Vansant in PA is very tailwheel friendly. Look the airport up on airnav.com and there is a link to a flightschool. They have J-3's, champs a tiger moth and I think a Waco. Good luck.

The airport manager/flight instructor at Davis Airport (W50) in Laytonsville, MD, offers tailwheel instruction.
