Hi all just wondering if there are any suggestions for a 121 guy wanting to jump over to corporate. I was hoping to stay in the CVG DAY CMH area. I have over 5000 T.T. with heavy international experience. I currently do domestic on a non-heavy jet.

I would like to go corporate because I am tired of the whole night time gig and would like to get into the stable flying of corporate aviation. (ha ha) I know there is no stability in all of aviation....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There's a charter/frac outfit in Elkhart, IN that allows you to 'live anywhere.' Last I heard, they’re still looking pretty hard for pilots. Don't overlook a 135 job. Most corporate pilots with sweet jobs have flown 135 in the past.

Good luck. You'll need it.

Yeah I already did the 135 thing when starting out. I could go back but was looking more for a jump right into the corp. world. Have looked at the fractionals and am considering this for a short term to get the stink of 121 off of me. Not sure why 121 would be a turn off for employers but I hear it is. Thanks all for the info so far still pounding the pavement looking. Like the wife says it never hurts to look, just dont touch.........

Not sure why 121 would be a turn off for employers but I hear it is. ....

couple of reasons:
1. They are afraid of sinking copious amounts of money, time and effort into someone that will go back to 121 when recalled.

2. The two jobs are vastly different and sometimes 121 drivers have difficulty adapting. This causes heartburn, which can be easily avoided. :)

P&G out of LUK. Great outfit if u can get hired!

Now don't get me wrong, I would take that job in a heartbeat (I live 10 minutes from LUK).....they have a great new hangar down there too....but I've heard that you aren't home very much flying for them
