anyone have any ideas on how i can get a jeppesen chart and approach plate to study? i have no jepps exerience. i'm trying to avoid spending 60 bucks on their study dvd.

If you're in the Houston area I've got some old FL plates and Low En Route charts. Other wise, if you haven't already, call up all your local flight schools.

MyPilotStore has expired plates you can use to study. I believe they are about $15.00 fo a pack, and you get plates, charts, and the information pages which are huge in studying.
