I am looking to find out a little info on World Airways, I have checked there site out but not too much info there. Such as bases, pay, schedules?

Go to the Next Air-inc seminar. That's how i was hired. They want to meet the people before they hire.
Great Company! Small workforce, so they want to know who their might be spending alot of time with in the cockpit.

Keep searching here and on APC, there is some good info on both. I am in my second year at World and loving it, came from a regional. Quick answer to your questions: home based, live where you want in the 48 and have a home airport served by 2 airlines, first year pay is $60/hr on 65 hr guarantee, I made $54K first year. Schedules-12 days off a month min. (I average about 14-15 off) 3 kinds of lines: regular-you know your sched. for the month, Home Reserve-6 hr. call out 76 hour guarantee and Open Time-16 hour call, 65 hour guarantee. New guys usually get open time lines, ocassionally regular lines.
Very different than the scheduled carriers as you are often gone for 2 weeks then home for 2 weeks and all over the world. Great crews, can be very demanding but is well worth it.
Good luck.
