Does anyone know of a part-135 certificate or operation for sale if so please send me a prvt message thanks..

Why not just get your own certificate?

I'm not sure you can transfer just the certificate without keeping the management personnel, etc.

I assume you have already looked into piggy-backing on someone elses certificate. If not, you should seriously consider that first.

We are actually on some one's certificate and would like to get on our own to give us operational control over our company. Currently we have 4 jets and a couple of Be200's and would like to expand our company even more without paying someone else alot of money.

Yes you can buy one. Check South Florida, there is a lot of movement there as far as 135 certificates for sale goes.

As far as getting certified from scratch, it's about a 6 to 8 month process, depending on the FSDO and, well, you.

Good luck.

This is somewhat misleading in more ways than one with regards to "buying" a certificate. One cannot sell this piece of paper, you can only sell the corporate entity that the fed issues it to. You then are able to rename it and put your equipment on it which pretty much will take you back to square one. The FAA keeps a very watchful eye on this practice and they always have the right and authority to revoke this. The "buying" of the corporate entity is usually astronomical ($300k-$400k)which is nuts. Their is a company in Denver that will do all the paperwork, set up, etc, for around $6,000 or so depending on exactly what you are looking to do and they will get it done in a timely manner. Do the research, I was offered $4,000 to undertake this project and it is a time consuming one to put it mildly.

Here is an example should you decide to go at it alone, which is not overly difficult to do if you have the time and good people around you.

good luck

Will the feds let you transfer one without keeping at least some of the management personnel?
