Hi guys

I am looking for a multi engine building partner. I am mei looking to build some time in the bay area near San Francisco.
I got a good deal for a duchess at $175 an hour. I am looking to fly around 50 hours.
If anyone is interested pm me.

If it's $175 wet, thats a great deal. Figure she'll burn 19gph at cruise. 100LL is going for a national average high of about $4.10 gal. Fuel cost per hour is about $78hr. So a total of $253hr wet. Thats not a deal. Please don't tell me that's block time rate.
I can rent a Seminole locally here on LI for $251hr wet, not buying block time. That machine burns about 25gph and we have the highest average 100LL price here in the northeast. Fuel prices.
I know of a Apache in FL that is $140hr for block rate dry. Burns about the same as the Duch, perhaps a little less. Total cost about $218hr wet. Thats $40 hr cheaper. 50hrs your saving $2k solo and $1000 splitting the 50hrs. Worth the trip out if your bangin out the time all at once.

just my 2 cents...........

We send our duchess out as low as 176/hr wet (block). As low as 176 as high as 250. Choose your hourly rate. 175 is a very good deal if it's wet.

sorry out of town.

So $87.50/hr each? I'd need a couple of ratings out of it to make it worth the hassle.
I can do your private multi, com multi or initial multi mei.
I take 50$ an hour and you pay for the plane.

For the ones interested:
I teach during the day and work at a restaurant at night.
So i am looking for someone to built time after like 5pm, maybe to 11pm.
Just Local, a few cross countries, i am not in a rush. I am looking for a cool dude or lady to spend some good time in the plane while getting the multi time.
have a nice day

Ok...sounds good to me. I just need to know a few things.

How many hours of multi-dual have you given?
How many MEI have you signed off?
What is your first time pass rate?
How long have you been an instructor?

Alright, I'll just guess.

0 hrs dual multi given.
0 MEI's signed off
Too new to sign off an initial cfi

Sometimes finding cool people to work together invovles both sides giving a little. 87.50/hr vs. $225/hr is gonna keep you looking for multi time. I'd have been willing to do a 50 hour block with you, just like you were looking for, busted it out in a week or two. You'd have gotten 50 PIC Multi, probably put you a lot closer to an FO job at a regional.

Yeah, I'd a paid a bit more for your services (not $50 an hour for a paper MEI), but never mind, I'll go the allatp route or one of the other places the specializes in fast, inexpensive ME's with experienced instructors.

Good Luck.

Dear gsrcrsx68, or I should say dear Mary,
Have you seen that movie "Fargo"
"I am not gonna debate you Mary, I am not gonna debate you"
I made this post to find a multi engine partner and I get your bull..it that I could care less about.
I just feel sorry for myself. I will maybe have to fly with you for an airline and spend time in a such a small space dealing with attitude, disrespect(an expression of lack of respect)
, insecurity(the anxiety you experience when you feel vulnerable and insecure)
, and rudeness (discourtesy: a manner that is rude and insulting) .
I feel so sorry your mommy gave u birth with a small weenie, but here is not the place to share your frustrations.
You might want to change attitude or someone will put you were you deserve to be...at the ticket stand.
And once again...
"I am not gonna debate you Mary, I am not gonna debate you"
So long

Okay, you post, I say I'm interested.

You respond that you'd be willing to to give instruction. I say ok and ask a couple of questions which you choose not to answer.

Now you go on an attack...

Have fun washing dishes, that's about your level of professionalism.
