I have a client that is looking for a Bombardier CL300, they already have one and are looking to purchase another.

Any suggestions?

IM me for serious inquiries.

There is a broker in Chicago that is selling an '07 delivery slot. I am not aware of any CL300s that have been delivered that are 'on the market'. I am also not aware of any 'off market' airframes either, and I have folks that keep fairly up to speed on these issues.

However, usually everything is for sale for a price, and depending upon how much of a premium your client is willing to pay, I would think you could scare one up.

But if your client is only willing to pay what s/he paid for the one they have, I would think you're SOL, and you'd be way ahead by snagging a good 604 for 20M or so.

There are 4 CL300s available right now.
There are 2004 and a 2005 for sale both with about 450 hours on them, and two delivery postitions available. The first position is for January 2007 and the second is for November 2007.

The Novemeber position can still be spec'd out per your client's wishes, but I believe the cutoff for the January delivery just passed.

Is your client based in the US? (I am assuming yes)
Are there any specific options that your client is looking for?
Does your client prefer used or new?

Just so you know there is a premium attached to the new aircraft base price of anywhere from 400K to 600K and sometimes even more. The amount of premium that you pay is usually directly related to the total price of the aircraft and the demand for that particular model.

From my understanding the first used 300 that went on the market sold for more than the list price of a new one (19.5 Million+).

I am not sure how far the CL300s are backlogged, but I think the wait is about 18 months or so. I have found that some people that have the means, don't like to wait for things and are willing to pay a little more for the "Now!" factor.

These guys already have a 300 and are passively looking for another. Not expecting anything to 'pop' right away.
I just wanted to put a shout out for them and pass on the info.

Thanks for your help.

Well Gatorman, according to Learsforsale, your "passive buyers" could have one tomorrow if they wanted.

Where's the problem?
