Here's an interesting article from the Washington Post. Seems that when the mainstream media write about things aviation, they sound so juvenile. Anyway, fodder for discussion. Also, I didn't know they had a pilot shortage overseas.

I can see the classified ads already:

It literally is true... "Look ma, I'm a pilot!" Only these guys (South African Airways) operate A319's, A340's, B737's and B747's instead of RJ's. Plus according to this thread on the pprune forum, South African Airways is doing this on account of Affirmative Action.

So, sign up all you low-timers! Just do not bother if you are not a black pilot from South Africa.
