Uh, the best advice i was ever given about logbooks was... Be absolutely as "conservative" and "to the letter of the law" as you can... It will only benefit you in the long run. And all the really important times that you thought were *cough* important... will just fall into place legally and righteously.
When you start splitting hairs about what "could" be right you end up wondering if all that pondering was really right... and that just sucks at an interview, where youre already stressed...
just do the right thing... if its questions of X-C or PIC or even loggin multiengine time in an approved multiengine sim , take the route that you'd rather not face today, instead of logging ANYTHING that might be questionable, just hold out... All that time will come!

I agree!

But the question refers to the original question...about logging x/c time torwards 135 mins...yes you should and it's perfectly legal! It wouldn't matter if...unless it applied to you. So if your shooting for a 135 job then this is a very significant part of your logbood you need and would want to keep up with!

Besides...You can log anything you want...you just can't use anything not LEGIT torwards Total Time and ratings.

As far as this statement...

what "could" be right you end up wondering if all that pondering was really right... and that just sucks at an interview, where youre already stressed... "

I don't think I understand how what your saying (Xfr8dog) applies in this scenario?135 mins are 1200TT,500X/C,100 Night, and I believe 25 instrument (not sure...it's been a while)...but you have to be able to show an employer proof and documentation of your times...which is simply done by logging it!

Regards,

Tex
