Wondering if anyone has come up with a good way to hold the printed copies of your logbook from logbook pro? I know you can buy their binders and paper and stuff from the logbook pro people, but I'm wondering if anyone has another more cost effective way to do it. Thinking about clear sheet protectors and a binder, but I can't seem to locate anything you can use lengthwise...all the binders i have found are made to have the 11 inch side of the paper vertical.

I heard from a few people that some companies do not accept the printouts and they want a hand filled logbook. Can anyone confirm or deny this.

What is the difference if the logbook is printed or hand written? The only reason I see someone wanting a written logbook if for endorsement purposes. However, if you can reproduce those endorsements then there is nothing wrong with a printed logbook and is just as legal as a hand written one.

It doesn't matter if pages are printed or hand written, what matters is that they are SIGNED certified true and correct at the bottom right, thus certifying the data. I've heard of several that have taken Logbook Pro logbooks to interviews and WOW'd them with their data presentation and were subsequently hired. It pays off to be neat and orderly, and more importantly, have your data in a way that you can extract the information required for the various interviews! It saved my butt, that's for sure!

C150,

I use logpro too, outside of getting the pages binded, I would suggest just printing a summary report and highlighting important dates but also still keeping a standard logbook.
