Job Fairs/Conferences

I don't see how bringing your logbook(s) with you could hurt. I've only been to one job fair, but I brought mine with me. 2 or 3 airlines were conducting interviews at the job fair, so its not a bad idea to have everything ready such as copies of certificates, medical, passport, etc.
What job fair are you planning on going to? I don't plan on going to another one unless there are many more airlines in attendance, AND it would help if some of them were hiring. I felt ripped off after paying $200 to get in and hear airline representatives explain that they are not hiring, or the ones that were wouldn't grant an interview even though I met their minimum requirements. Times are tough but c'mon.
I always enjoy your avatars. . .

Caddilac is right. Bring the books. Better to have them when/if they ask than to have to explain why they aren't with you. Ziggy1
