Has anyone ever walked into an interview with printed copies of their time from something like Logbook Pro or similar? Or is it always standard procedure to bring in the actual log books? Thanks.

Are you talking about having transferred your info from a written log book to a logbook pro style?

If so, I would bring all of them.

When I upgraded, I had a combo. Old style logbooks from previous years, and then a printed out version from when I started using LBP.

I plan on doing this at an interview if I ever get one again.

I dont have ANY paper logbooks anymore. Just LBP. It is my only REAL logbook. I converted at 900 hours and went back to zero. never looked back.

I suppose you may find some crusty old fuggers that started flying on Convairs that might have a problem with it.

I don't see why it would be an issue. There is something to be said however for a neatly written, professional leather-bound logbook. I like the Jepp one with the metal name plate on the front.

I had a nice bound printout of my Logbook Pro for my Delta interview. I also carried the old ones just in case. They seemed to be impressed with the neatness and professional look of the electronic version. I think the more professional and organized you come across will help your chances. Heck of a lot easier filling out applications too with an electronic logbook.

I signed each page. A half hour burned up to do it but that pesky blank line problem on every page was taken care of.

Converting over to print outs seems to be a way to go. My opinion would be just for the organization alone. It seems, things would go over smoother with a print out as well as speeding the process of being stuck in a room with the interviewer.
