Sure. I use a PDA. I just don't use Logbook Pro. I use AeroLog Pro. Their PDA Companion comes free with their program. I have used this program since the days of DOS, and it was worked very well for me. Obviously, many refinements and features have been added since the early days, but I find the ease of use and the mulitude of features suit me just fine. Also, the guy who wrote the program is always available to offer advice and assistance anytime. Very good program, very good service. If not, I wouldn't have stuck with this program for all these years.

However, for a "stand alone" PDA logbook, and if you work for a supported airline www.airlinelogbook.net is hard to beat.

Wonder if you can import logbook pro into those programs you mentioned. Looks like those programs are for PALM. I have pocketpc =)

I have used the above on a PDA and find it very useful (i must say i have been a capt on reserve for over a year and have not used it during that time), but seeing as how i have been recently requalified as a first officer and i can now hold just about any line i want i plan to use it again as it really helps me keep organized when i know what to expect from the month ahead !!
:D

Yep, it's an SC90S, all mahogany. If you have the catalog, (although they may have just recently come out with a more recent version), but in the last one, on page 45, the larger photo is my exact guitar. All mahogany, cream/black pickups (although I ordered an M22SD bridge pup and an M22V neck pup. Otherwise, it is exactly the same....block inlays, gold hardware, etc. I also own a C980 acoustic and a Bel Air 212 all tube amp. Finally, tomorrow I am ordering a Bolt Plus Kit with a Koa body and maple neck, along with a birdseye maple fingerboard, with C22 Humbuckers at the bridge and the neck, and an AP11 singlcoil in the center position. This will be my project for the next few weeks after it arrives. I am going to finish it with Tung Oil on the body and neck, leaving the natural wood showing through. I'm hoping it turns out as nice as I envision it. I'll post photos and progress reports on my home page as I go along.

As you can tell, I am a full fledged Carvinite. I believe there is no finer equipment available at even 2-3 times the cost. I belong to several guitar related message boards, an am always touting Carvin products on there. I have become known as the "Carvin guy". But again, these are products I really beleive in, and am a customer for life and would not consider any other brand.

Logbook pro for PDA

I have used Logbook pro on my palm VII for a year and I love it. The only limitation is that your entire logbook is not on your PDA, just the totals. ie. PIC, SIC, Night, instr etc...

After synching to your computer, you delete the entries, and Logbook pro transfers the totals to your palm.

Overall, it works great and I have kept up w/my logbook better than ever before.

Well, HEY...welcome back to flightnfo. I have to admit I spend a little less tme here after finding the Carvin board, plus I spend a lot of time on GuitarAlliance.com. They have a lot of great information, lessons, techniques, downloads, jam tracks, scales...you name it. Plus, a pretty good message board, as well.

Had I known it was you, I wouldn't have gone into such a detailed explanation on my Carvins, since you already know. :D

I hope the flying is going well for you. I've just finsished the ground school and the fixed base sim at Alaska, and I start the Maneuvers Trainer (full flight sim for most of the rest of the world) tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I always enjoy going to the sim. The rest of training, I can live without...but i do enjoy the sim portion.

Take care and fly safe.
