Locating my Buddy in the Navy

I'm trying to find a friend of mine who is a Navy P3 I/P. I haven't talked to him in about 10 years but by chance, I did meet his former C/O while I was on the road, and found out that he was still on Active duty.
What I need to know is if there is a good source for locating him or a message board that anyone knows of for this type of thing.
