Anyone know of anything open or coming open in Little Rock or thesurrounding area (Memphis or Dallas)? I am typed in the Hawker,2500 TT, 800 jet, and 135 current. LR is a small town and I knowthe jobs there are few at best. A heads up on anything in thearea would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Central is looking for 135 Captain in a MU-300. Not many Hawker jobs there. Have been looking myself. The BE-400 is probably the most popular type to have in Arkansas.

I think Dillards is in LR. Tyson is also there or XNA.

Propilot who is ATI?

The story I have heard is that the newest person that flies with Dillards has been on "contract" status for around two years.

Not sure it's Dillards, but I have seen a GV down their way, parked near the hangar that the Challenger was in with the registration number ending in BD like their other planes.

Dillards does have the Falcon, Challenger, and lears. They also have the G-V which they hangar in Greenville, MS apparently for tax purposes and also LIT doesn't have an available hangar big enough for it. I have heard the same thing about the contract pilot(s). However, if you can get on, it sounds like it is a better place than it used to be w/ the new chief pilot. Good luck

You always have to wonder how good of a place it is to work if they have a lot of contract pilots. Some guys prefer to be contract, but they are fewer and more far between than those who prefer full time employment.

If a guy is willing to hang around on a contract for two years in the hope of landing full-time employment, I would think it would have to be a dam good job. Either that or this guy is single and just doesn't want to move out of his mom's basement.

And yes, Tyson Foods has a rather large flight department. Global Express, Falcon 10's and 50 and maybe a Challenger.

Tyson has two Falcon 50's and the Global based at XNA, the others are based in Iowa I believe.

I know of a quite a few corporate openings in Little Rock. Two guys I was in the military with have been flying out of Little Rock for 10+ years.
