What part of the country are you from? Many areas have balooning festivals that are a great place to find light-than-air schools.

Thanks for the FAR reference and the link. I should have been more specific. I'm interested in the practical aspect of getting the rating (i.e. schools, instructors, comments on the experience). It's one of those things I've been wanting to do to broaden my aviation horizon.
