hi
is there any chance for a metroliner 121 captain to get employment with any of the fractionals (excluding avantair,I assume it would be possible with them) ?
thanks

If it's any indication, this Part 121 Beech 1900 captain was hired by NetJets last month -- I start class next week. They've hired a number of our pilots over the years. So yes, I'd say it's very possible.

One of our guys went to CitationShares a little while ago, but we don't hold it against him. :D

Similar to my buddy wannttofly, I did a lot of Beech 1900 time and had no jet time prior to getting hired at NetJets. And both of us know a lot of other turboprop-only people at NetJets that came from 121, 135 and 91 backgrounds.

Avantair doesn't care what kind of turbine you have been flying, but they only like hiring with around 4-6000 hours

Not true. I know several 2500 pilots who got hired here recently. It's true that we have many new hires with 4000+ hours but we do not ONLY like hiring 4-6000 hour pilots.

they like hiring guys with over 4000. I know because I was just hired with 4100 and I was told that it might take me longer to upgrade due to my low tt. I didnt say it wasnt possible.
