Anyone who has recently been hired by XJET have any idea how much "Letters of Recommendation" played a role? I have an interview on Oct 15th and have two letters from my current Chief Flight Instructors. Should I bring these, should I try to get more? Looks by the gouges that almost everyone has at least one letter, most of the time more. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

Make sure beyond a doubt that the persons signing the LORs are willing to answer specific questions on the phone from your potential employer. Insure that the people writing the LORs are of a good quality, i.e. high time or have experience in the aviation field you are trying to enter. Taylor the LOR to specific needs of your potential employer. Make sure the LOR is dated. Not sure about XJET, but these are common problems with using LORs. Good luck and the more quality LORs, the better.

LORs certainly don't hurt. If you can get one from someone currently employed at XJT it helps even more (speaking from experience). Bring a few of them if you can. Good luck.
