We all tore the highlighted language to pieces, but so far nothing on the official language. The other thread has turned into CA vs FO fight.
This is a good place to have a lot of people with a lot of opinions pick this thing apart.

Sounds fine to me... I've tried to get on the union board a few times in the past, and it just brought me to the ALPA board, not the local MEC board. Is there somewhere special for that?

When you log in, select web boards on the left side menu. It will take you to a page of rules. Click agree. That will take you to a page with a drop down menu where you choose ALPA national or ASA MEC web boards. If you don't see the ASA one scroll down. If you still don't see it you may not have access. Call membership services at 1-888-fly-alpa

The funniest part of this thing is to see all these folks on here "flip-flopping" like fish out of water over this stuff..

First it was "My MEC speaks for me" then "Our hard working CNC knows what we want and they won't settle until they get it for us" NOW we've got "the scope sucks, the rigs suck, the pay sucks, the bonus sucks but I'M A CAPTAIN, I'M A CAPTAIN. GIVE ME MORE!!!, and my personal fav, "I've been here 6 months and I should get as much of a bonus as anyone because its a bonus not RETRO"

oh BTW, the alpa web board format SUCKS! besides, its much more fun to let guys from other airlines poke fun at you for being childish.

i think you guys should have a separate board, i mean at any given time something like half of the threads on the front page are ASA this ASA that. Its getting a bit much to pick through.
