My wife said she wants to take lessons. Being a cheap-a$$ pilot, I was wondering if there are any grants or student loan-type deals out there to help her out.

I might have her try the WIA but I don't know if it would apply. Thanks in advance.TC

P.S.--don't bother flaming me, I've been out of the flight training scene so long that I'm a newbie again! ;)

IF she takes lessons and becomes a pilot, will she then begin frequenting this forum, see your Avatar, and make you remove it?

I would discourage flying lessons if I were you. :)

Spouses teaching spouses

You probably know this already, but it bears repeating. One spouse teaching another spouse a skill is a recipe for disaster, especially if the skill in question involves a vehicle that moves.

Good luck to your wife with her training.

Tony--Yeah, you might be right... "Hey Honey! Ever thought about law school...?" ;)

Bobby--I have absolutely NO intentiion of giving my wife one second of flight instruction. I wasn't born yesterday! :D TC

Better get on the scholarship applications if you are going that route. The deadlines are in the next two weeks.

G200--If that was my wife in my avatar, do you think I'd spend one second on this stupid board? :p TC
