ASA pilots, the Transtates pilots are going through a similar situation right now. Read the following thread and pay close attention to what UEJ500 and Turkey Shoot say on page 3 of this thread. We could learn a lot from what they are going through.

Don't want to become educated on the issues? Can't handle the truth? Ignore comes from ignorance and ignorance is bliss.

:rolleyes:Joe, you can do as much "Anti Union" bashing as you want, but it is not going to stop the inevidable! TSA is in a WHOLE different position than we are. WE OWN ATL!! There is NOTHING that they can do about it. If we STRIKE, DELTA is DONE!!! We hold a lot more leverage than YOU think! But since you like being on the "company side," you won't listen anyhow! Good Luck with THAT!!

First, if someone is "anti-ALPA" they aren't "Anti Union". You see ALPA isn't really a union, just some of you haven't figured that out yet.

As far as "owning ATL" and "DELTA is DONE" if we strike, I agree with you. That is precisely why the NMB will not release us. It would be very bad for interstate commerce not to mention many political careers in Wash. Keeping Delta in business trumps us not having a new contract. If you don't understand that, then you don't understand the NMB and Wash. D.C.

;)Got that RIGHT Canoe!

Joe, I think I recall you saying that we should "create" our own union, but the thing you seem to be forgetting....it takes a TREMENDOUS amount of money! We don't make enough money to get that kind of thing up and runnin! We are NOT asking for A LOT! They had better wake up before someone looses and EYE!!!!!!!

If that's how you feel, then perhaps you should save the members the trouble of recalling you and just go ahead and resign. Why on Earth do you want to hold an elected office within an organization that you despise?
