Lear Type

Anyone know the cost of a Lear35 Type and a 55 Type. 135 PIC. Are they

different type ratings?

same type rating. The cost should be what ever the employer(not the pilot) has to pay. Insurance company may require differences training however.

Last I knew, inital LR-JET at Simuflite with type was about 12 G's. That was about 3 years ago though, and it was on the 25. Simcom is probably a bit cheaper. Don't buy a type rating though!

It's not worth the paper it's written on without time in type.

...just saw the check for one on the 45 - $15,000 at FS.

recurrent on the 31 at FS is 9500, (same Lr-Jet type as the 35,55)
