Okay guys, my company currently operates a 35A and we are considering an upgrade. My questions about the 45 are: What are the hourly fuel burn figures? What is the realistic range with seats full(assuming the BR mod). What the initial cruising alititude at max TO? How much baggage does it have? What is your overall impression? Thanks for you help

Dude, your not smart enough to fly a 45, better stick with what you got.

hehe

hey, I can hardly figure out what to do without EPR! What's this N1 crap. Anyway, what's up man

Realistically, and it has been about two years since I was in one with Flexjet, full seats coast to coast with one fuel stop. I did a St.Petersburg, FL to Carmel, CA with 5 people, LOTS of luggage and stopped for gas in Dallas.

The luggage bin is HUGE!!, 6 sets of clubs plus about 5 or six suitcases.

You can go right to FL410 with a full load and step climb after that.

Hope this helps.

asked and answered many times here. Try a search!

Not trying to be ugly, just don't feel like typing all the info again and again.

good luck!

Any idea if/when Lear is going to upgrade the avionics in the 45 family? Something like what the 605 and the 60XR have would be pretty sweet.

The short version:

Fuel Burns 1600 1st hr. 1100-1200 2nd 1100 every hr after at 43-47k.

With full fuel at 45000' going LRC we quite frequently do 1700NM with 7 pax and bags with up to 60 kts headwind.

With the BR mod you can climb straight to 45000' at max weight as long as your temp is below ISA +10

Baggage compartment is rated to 500lbs. Carries a crapload.

Overall impression is great airplane.
