Anyone have any idea the answer to this question??? Also, are there any crashpads with safe public transportation to and from LAX? Thanks.

might want to ask some united or alaska folk.....I know there are quite a few crashpads around the santa monica/venice area.....there was a website posted here that had a good amount of L.A. crashpads available. The transportation (busses) are pretty safe between that area and LAX.....they have busses that go to a depot at lax, and then you take a parking lot shuttle to the terminal......

Thanks for the info guys. Anyone ever do the commute between ATL & LAX? I know there are a ton of flights, but how is it going back and forth?

5 hour flight and a 3 hour time difference? there is commuting and then there is commuting coast to coast. Good luck with that.

Honestly, if you already live in ATL, why on earth would you bid for a dayline only domicile on the otherside of the country. There are few places where it costs more than LA. The reality is this a base for those that have already been commuting to ATL from there. I have a feeling it will go senior as well, that assumption based on its size.

My guess, too. I'm betting most of the Senior SLC people that don't want to move again for this stinkhole will bid LAX and do the relatively short commute. Others may move that way that can't bear the thought of doing ATL. I think it will be quite senior.
