After watching the training flight with Anne and her partner, I noticed that they made one huge error.

Once the main cabin door is shut the FA is supposed to announce "Flight Attendants prepare cabin for departure cross check verify."

I know this is a TV series and they dont show the whole flight but they did show them closing the doors and a few mins of footage afterwards. More than enough time for the viewer to hear what should have been the above announcement.

You would think they are training for the space shuttle. They are way too intense.
Yeah, just ask the poor woman who got fired because she got lost at the water facility and was at the wrong door. I mean come on! These girls are probably only paid 20K a year, what do they expect. Any one of us could get lost at a place we have never been to. Typical airline mentality...fire fire fire, and then fire some more, there are plenty waiting in line behind you. Very sad I say.:bawling:

I caught the show for the first time a couple weeks ago, and at the end of the show they had a "In Memory of..." and it was one of the teachers who was training the students. I think she was in her 40's or 50's.

Anyone know what happened to her that she passed away so young?

Maybe Sporty's could make Flight Attendant products like they do for pilots, you know, like the holding pattern computer and the "you might be in that cloud" computer.

A simple little whiz wheel that they could use to help them out, would be smmmmmoooooooth.

They need to spend more time in training on how to leave the whole can of Mountain Dew instead of the usual 4 oz. of pop with 8 oz of ice. Give the people what they want......free peanuts with a full can of pop, a nice smile and NO talking.

They want to make d*mned sure the ones who are left are scared to death --- of management.

I was wondering the same thing.

"We are sad to report that Pam Gardner died unexpectedly due to sudden illness after the taping of Flight Attendant School. She will be missed by all who knew her. Jeff Potter, President and CEO of Frontier Airlines, offered his condolences in this statement:
"As a company, one thing that we can never prepare for is the loss of one of our own. Losing Pam Gardner has been difficult for all of us, as individuals and as a company, to overcome. But those who knew Pam well, and who were touched by her energy, enthusiasm and sheer positive will, know that Pam would expect nothing less of us than to put our best foot forward and to remember her with a smile. She will be missed tremendously, but "Flight Attendant School" is a fitting tribute to her legacy here at Frontier and we are privileged to have such a wonderful way to share her spirit and passion for her career and for Frontier Airlines with the rest of the world."

Apparently she had a blood clot in her leg that got loose and got stuck in either her heart or brain (can't remember which) and killed her. I'm friends with one of the students featured on the show and was curious as well so I got filled in on the details.
