Are you automatically disqualified if you have had the Lasic procedure and had your vision corrected to 20/20. I had mine done about 6 mos ago and was wondering about flying in the military, heavier stuff not fighters.

It has been done

I know of aviators that have had it done, while already being winged. I will check some of the other publications to see if you are allowed to have it prior to applying.

You are probably forked. As far as I know the only eye surgery that is waiverable is PRK (and that is pretty rare). Lasik is an automatic disqualification in the Air Force. That is just what I've heard.
 
PRK only

Lasik is still disqualifing for pilots and navs. PRK is the only waiverable surgery. I don't think it's hard to get a waiver for it. I had PRK done as well as another guy in my unit and we both got waviers.
