Was in Vegas a few times the last couple days and noticed a few white 737-2's with a red stripe and a call sign of "JANET". Anyone know anything about these guys?

The transport civilian workers to places at the Nevada Test Site that don't exist.

They have 10-15 of them that rotate in and out at all times of the day and night. They park them just north of the Signature ramp.

I live a few miles from the airport and see them all the time... that is if they actually existed.

"JANET" is only their call sign until they get to Groom Lake, i.e. Dreamland. The call sign then changes on a daily basis. Most of the planes are registered to the Department of Energy. They usually fly VFR actually. I don't think they are hiring :)

Everything written here is simply your imagination playing tricks on you. As a matter of fact that "Janet" 73 you say you saw was just your imagination playing tricks on you. You must have been dreaming about the Superbowl halftime show and a job at Southwest all at once.

They're always #1 for departure and arrival. Good thing Area 51 isn't anywhere near PHL.

They hire mostly ex-military. We have a few who used to work there prior to SWA. We also have a few who retired and went there, as it's all part 91.

They have hired some non military. Although you would probably need an internal recommendation.
