I just called a KHA pilot freind of mine, ole Zantop buddy, he says he knows nothing about it.

THe CNNmoney.com site says it will continue air charter ops.

Zantop buddy called me back, lay off notices will be going out tommrow, good news it there are lots of jobs out there unlike when Zantop pulled the plug.

man that's terible news. great times did i have riding in the jumpseat of the mighty 727 at kitty, not to mention the captain seat of a 73 on one occasion. met a couple of really cool old timer engineers. one showed me a pic of himself when he was a 26 year old dc-9 captain at eastern! all of them were and are a classy bunch.
