I've been hearing Kitty Hawk may be using their new 737 Freighters to fly for DHL. Any truth to the rumor?? Anyone know if Kitty Hawk is currently hiring? What the mins, pay and QOL are?

Yes, they will be taking over most if not all of DHL's freight with their mighty 737's and ABX and ASTAR will be gone by summer. I am sending my resume to them ASAP. Cya on the line.

Yes,it's BS, although I would expect kittyhawk to show up sometime, as well as capitol and custom. Its alright though, there's plenty to go around.

That's BS, right????????????????

Kitty Hawk does not have the aircraft capacity to fly outside of their own system.
Management does not want to be in the ACMI business.
The DHL rumor comes along every few months. It started when yellow cans starting appearing on Kitty hawk ramps all over the country. These yellow cans are ballast cans that are loaded upon the aircraft while it sits empty, they never fly with the aircraft. The yellow cans have nothing to do with DHL.

The 737-300's continue to work well and have proven to be the right aircraft for kitty hawk. The (lack of) fuel burn is impressive as is the range.

Kitty Hawk has contracted a 767 from Airborne to fly in the kitty hawk system. The aircraft starts flying next week. It will not be flying DHL freight...it will be flying Kitty Hawk freight.

Just out of curiousity, what is "kitty hawk" freight composed of??

Glad to see that the money they stole from us adhoc guys went to good use. It is unbelievable to me that these companies can screw their employees, shareholders, vendors, and then still be in business. Big business I guess.

Whoops, maybe not BS, looks like we are loosing a few stations, and 4 727's to be parked in CVG. BUMMER!!!!!!! Boy, they got us now, no more junior man!!!! UP YOURS GENERAL MALLORY!!!!!
