The above was taken from another thread where SIU was asking about how a localizer worked, and we all got off on how certain prop settings will interefere with shooting an ILS approach and could give you false indications.
 
Back on topic of the Prop RPM/Interfence issue, here is what my King Air 200 manual says verbatim in the Normal Procedures / Approach section:

CAUTION
Propeller operation in the range of 1750-1850 rpm should be avoided as it may caused ILS glide slope interefence.
