Wondering if someone here can help me.

I am looking for a file, preferably "word" that will keep track of the date, time, hobbs, pilots etc...

And any other files that could be of good use for a corporate flight department.

Thx

If you know anything about MS Access, I'd suggest using it. You can throw in all the items listed and even "query" it, i.e. to find out which pilots flew on which days, how much time, etc. etc. Design "reports" that can be printed to show the amount of flying per month, week, whatever breakdown you want.

If you're real web savvy (or have an IT dept) you can put the database on the web and enter the stuff via a form from anywhere.

Otherwise, I echo the other poster and just design it in Excel. It's less legwork up front.

I have actually built a Production and Inventory Control System for a mid-sized furniture manufacturer in MS Access back in the day (MS Office 7.0), without touching the VBA module (VB code withihn Access). It is an amazing piece of software, even more so for Access 2000. Get MS Office and a 'For Dummies' Access book and I guarantee you can roll your own in a week or so, and even include a decent user interface, to boot.

Good stuff.
