What would the hi/lo payrate be for a full-time pilot/manager for a King Air 350 in the Los Angeles area. It would be flying for the owner, and there would be charter involved, for the first year in particular.

Avcrew 2004:
Chief Pilot BE300/350
High-102,000
Low-50,000
Avg-76,500

NBAA 2003:
Chief Pilot Turboprop, Multiengine (Base Salary)
Maximum-120,000
Minimum-35,000
Avg-65,836

Remember, the NBAA #'s are for Base Salary. That doesn't include benefits, etc. You're flying one of the biggest single-pilot T-props out there. I used to fly a BE20 in SoCal. You have the potential to be VERY busy. I was flying 25+ days/month. If you're managing the plane and the sole pilot, make sure you charge accordingly. You'll hate yourself if you're doing KVNY-KTRM-KBFL-KFAT-KSNS-KVNY 6 days/week for 50K.
