I have the opportunity to get typed in a King Air 350. Before they send me to school, I'd like to get a jump on studying, cause this brain has a lot more mush in it than it used to. Anyone know where I can get a manual or similar type study material without paying the big bucks at Beechcraft?

If they have you scheduled for school, regardless of which outfit it is, have your CP call the school and have them mail you the Initial manuals and checklists. I have done this numerous times when going to FSI.

If you happen to be going to SimuFlite, they have an 'online' study guide which you can gain access to using a login/password assigned by SimuFlite. Have your CP contact the SimuFlite office to get you access to that portion of the website (if you're going to that school).

Thanks guys, I appreciate the response. I don't know yet where I am being sent, hopefully Flightsafety, I'm very familiar with them. Either way, it's nice to have an opportunity to fly again after being furloughed! Hope we can all get jobs soon!

Don't discount Simuflite just because you are familiar with FSI. I went through the BE350 type course and ATP check ride at Simuflite and I can't say enough good things about my experience. PM me if you want the lowdown...

Good Luck wherever you end up going,
Skyking

I am going to be PIC primarily, some SIC I imagine. I would be happy to go to Simuflite. I have several friends who have told me Simuflite is excellent. Looking forward to starting training, believe it or not!
