This is a reminder, as I remind myself, as mentioned in a seminar last year at EAA AirVenture to keep a digital copy of your logbooks. The aircraft/airframe being the most important but losing the logbooks from fire, flood, etc. could impact the ability to sell your aircraft in the future.

100% - I had my previous planes complete documentation digitized. I was able to provide this information to interested parties when I sold it. With some of these old planes the logs and data plate are worth more than the airplane itself.
