I have been accepted to both schools. Which has the better flight program? Could I get some info on both schools? THANKS

I cannot help with specifics, but I will generalize. If this is a choice of one or the other for your higher education - go to K State. Get a degree in something other than aviation but do your flying there as well. You will be better educated, have all the same pilot qualifications, and have a lot of fun in the process.

Good luck!

I agree, you're much better off going to a regular university. Ratings are ratings, but a 4-year degree is better than an associates, or whatever Spartan offers now. You won't find big differences in flight departments, you'll likely get excellent training at any major school.

But if you do go to KSU, don't become a Wildcat fan! (I'm still bitter after Sat. night).

I went to Spartan and although its very expensive I had a pretty positive experience there. Although most of the insturctors are punks building time there are a few quality ones there. Shop around and you will find them. One has been there forever and is the best there is. They do have a 4 year degree program but I didnt go through it at that time. Dont know too much about K state. Tulsa or anywhere in KS arent the greatest place to live but you will learn about weather
