I know I'm in the wrong board but this seems to be where the action is. I need the interview gouge for Kalitta Charters. If anyone has any info at all I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Does Kalitta still fly 747s around the world? Does anyone know where they fly to?----just curious.

Bye Bye--General Lee;)

061948,

Any idea about which aircraft you would fly? Do they still fly the junky DC-8s?

Good luck

NO Pay

They called me for an interview about a year ago. Said the Fo pay is about $200 a week. I told him it would be suicide since I would starve on that pay. How can anyone afford to work at that place?

Gen L,

Saw a "Connie" 747 over Magadan just a few days ago, assume they were on their way to ANC.

General lee, Kalitta has somewhere between 12 or 15 747's going everywhere, they have approval for Baghdad so maybe even there . And no, no DC8's or L1011's anymore.
Kalitta Charters (different company) flies learjets 20's/ 30's and Falcon 20's and a DC9. F/o pay here is indeed very low but there is a milage incentive.

I worked there back when it was Kitty Hawk Charters. Flying the Lears was kick A$$. The job sucked though 24hour beeper, had to be at the airport in 15 minutes, and was paid a whopping $300 a week guranttee, which I never broke with the mileage incentative. The Direct of Ops is an a-hole, that's if he still works there. (Berry) All the pilots that I worked with, were quality people. Good place to get experience and move on. Good luck.
