Hey guys I am trying to fly for Kalitta I've received the letter that my resume is on file.
But how long until you get a call?
and How is it?
do they send you a letter inviting for an interview or they call you?
do they investigate your background before they call?
Do they hire minorities? (please don't try to convince me of that equal bla bla bla as we all know that doesn't exist)
If somebody who already passed for the whole process could help I really appreciate it.

Thank you

Thank you

does it really matter? im sure with your anglo-saxon background and all of your qualifications youll get hired, but watch out for all those unqualified minorities that were hired before you. :D and no, im not one of them

if they use qualifications for hiring I would not be flying CRJ as an F/O.

i made a bad attempt at humor i guess. we just had a turboprop captain, non minority, go there recently. my point was that someone with your quals should have no problem getting on there. i did here they hired a girl with around 900 hrs. i guess its like anywhere else, its who you know

So that's the point I don't know anyone there and I had been there personally but the only thing I got was a 2 pages application form the front desk lady who promise to attach it to my resume.
I have been trying to get to Richard Hagquist but his number 7008 always say that is been reported for trouble not even a answer machine. don't if he has another extension. Tina Ingram was very cold on the phone when I told her I was going there personaly and didn't receive me.
So I think they don't like people going there too much.
But I would go again if it's the only way.
I just want this job

Yet nobody answer or gave any better info than what is here already come on guys some new hire there?

If you really want the job and live near YIP, keep trying to see the Chief Pilot, Assistamt Chief Pilot or Dir. of Safety. With the right attitude and determination, why not show up?

show up at the next job fair at Aeroservice in Miami. Word from the top is that we're still really short and they like to see guys down there, they'll schedule interviews that same weekend. Also they love internal recs, so if you know anyone at all there, get them to walk your stuff in and put in a good word for you. Its not how much time or experience you have, its how bad you want the job and how much you make yourself known. Good luck!

When I went to the Aeroservice career fair last month Kalitta was interviewing some high time guys on the spot. Definitely worth your time to go down there if you've got the flight time they want.

So the next question is, where can I get info on the next job fair? Is there a website?

Ok guys I missed the lastjob fair there because I fly for an airline that's not so nice on schedule at all. Anyway I don't know anyone there to walk in my resume.
I'll be there for sure on next job fair but I am afraid it'll be too late to get my feet in this year, I mean I don't know how many more pilots you guys will be hiring, unless you guys are getting more airplanes.
The job fair they talking about is the aeroservice job fair
And the website is aeroservice.com as well.
Thank you guys

at least three more classes this year from what i hear....june, september and november....need 100 crews to meet staffing levels and only have 70 or so at the moment

Hey Falcon,
It looks like you are a very smart a$$.
So you should help me to get the job instead of criticize things that don't actually really matter.

Of course Falcon,
You might be right as English is my second language as well as spanish and some other languages I speak, But I still needing your help. I never turn down some help.
