Ya, The #1 engine disembarked the aircraft and is resting at the bottom of lake michigan. Looks like the wing faired preety good. Should be flying again soon. Got to love boeing. Most robust airplane ever built.
 
Don't know yet. But I bet it vibrated real bad hence the diembarkment! That is a design feature to prevent a grenaded engine from damaging the wing.

You've never seen a Douglas airplane open up with a convertible top. Kalitta had a DC-8 lose 19 feet of wing in Panama after contacting some radio towers and after the McDonnell Douglas folks checked it out the flew it out like that.
