When deadheading on another carrier, contract says that company is required to attempt to provide, at no additional cost to the company, seat in business or better on flights over 6 hours scheduled time.

How often are you stuck in coach middle seats on long flights?

Cheers,
D

In the 3+ years I've been here, I've only taken an airline flight that length once - Bangkok-Dubai and we ended up in first class. The vast majority of my airline flights are short ones - DTW-LGA or CHS-DTW.

The company really prefers to deadhead you on company airplanes, which is much more comfortable.
