RADIO TRANSMISSION - SONG SILVER WINGS

Thanks for fast reply re Kabul, can we ask one last piece of help?

When we recorded the song Silver Wings which goes about the happy thoughts of the unsuspecting Captian during takeoff of the first plane to be steered into the WTC on Sept 11, we needed a radio transmission. The studio gave us one which sounded OK at the time. Having heard it again and again it appears to be a non aviation radio trasmission. While the words cannot be identified perhaps you have heard it before and can help. Please advise if it sounds OK as an Aviation radio transmission to you. It is important that it sounds aviation related as the CD goes live on air in Miami late next month and we do not want to field a call from the radio station asking what a "truck dispatch" message is doing in a flying song. To help you save some time here is a direct link to the song. Cheers Musicjet

Why

musicjet,

Could you give me some insight here? Why would you write a song (in the present tense) about a bombing raid on Kabul. Last I knew, we have US forces on the ground at those coordinates?

COLD STEEL
34 5 North Dialed into the GPS
69 2 East Dialed into the GPS
I am military pilot and I work for the President...
....
There is a flash But by then I am gone
My job well done On my way home
...
Feel my steel Claw its way Through you
Never, never come back

COLD STEEL AND TENSE

Hi, writer advises the song is just one of 12 songs written as a way to deal to the events of 9/11 which can be found at
http://www.911thealbum.com
and the action taken thereafter. The "raid" was therefore conducted around three years ago and since the words relate to the feelings of the USAF pilot himself they were written in the present tense.

Cheers Musicjet.

musicjet-

Just went to your website, and enjoyed your work. I was particularly moved by "Unborn Baby of Tower One". I hope your album is successful.
