Well after a long discussion with the Boss (wife) we have decided to take our chances and go home (dallas) i am in search of a CL604 or other large a/c position in Dallas....... do I know where to look? nope .......

Any advice , leads will be highly appreciated

Thanks

Man all I can say is good luck. I have some contacts in the big D and all say nothing is going on.

Sounds as if everyone is using contract pilots and not hiring.
I would start with TXI at DAL, they do 135 in the Challenger, they might be of some help.

Last I heard TXI was down to one FA-50, one FA-10, and the FA-200 was parked but still there.

Business Jet Center on Lemmon Ave (east side of DAL) seems to keep a bunch of big iron on the ramp.

I have not heard great things about Regal (they have a new DO so things might be getting better), and the only operator at ADS with anything big is Million Air.

I hope this helps.

Thanks guys it does help .....i will make a few calls today and see if anything is happening .............though you may be right it may be too soon to be jumping i may have to wait a while

Where are you moving from? Maybe we could swap. My "boss" and I are considering moving out of Dallas.

Dallas? Hah!

I have been in the Dallas area for sereral years, started ar KC Aviation in 1990. The fine folks at Goofstream decided to let me go after 9/11 and I went looking for anything I could get. I wound up as a service truck driver at a construction company.
A few months later I went to work at Regal Aviation as an aircraft inspector. I worked there for a year.
I will not go into what goes on there at this posting.

Needless to say.....I am back to driving a truck, waiting to get back to work on Challengers again.

I hear it`s even hard to find a job cleaning a **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** house in Dallas.....haha. Best of luck to ya. I miss Big D. myself.

Too bad Flexjet isn't hiring much - I bet they could put you in the 604 as an FO given that you are already typed...
