I've made my final decision on where I want to get a B737 type. I was looking for K&S in the list of schools when I went to apply oline for a loan at Wells Fargo. I could find HPA, so I was wondering if anyone used the PLATO loan from Wells to finance there K&S type.

Don't take this the wrong way but have you applied to the airlines that don't require a type? Or are you hired at LUV and just geting the type to complete the pre-employment?

The only reason I'm asking this is it would suck to be paying off a loan for a 737 type and not get the LUV job. Looks like you got a lot of PIC.

Have you tried:

Jetblue
Air Tran
America West

Not trying to get into a PFT debate, just hate seeing guys rack up more debt to work for an airline.

I would hate to rack up more debt too! Actually I could pay cash for the type. I figure a low, tax-deductible interest rate loan on a tax deductible expense was a good idea.

I have solid personal reasons not to work at each of those companies. I'm sure they work out fine for those that work for them, but I would rather stay where I am now, than work at any of the comanies you listed.
