Why wouldn't it be feasible to start a stand-alone low fair airline modeled after Southwest, Airtran, or JetBlue using a 50 or 70 seat RJ? Except for "noncompete" agreements with the majors, what would stop SkyWest or some other strong regional from doing this? Would it be financially feasible?
