I was wondering what the 'jumpseats' are like for the cargo carriers? Not the physical ones, but the ones that may have seats in the 'cabin' near the cargo containers.
Are they just regular coach, or more like first?

Atlas Air

At Atlas, we have four business class type seats on the upper deck, most have foot rests, and we have three bunk beds up there also, so if there's no deadheading crewmembers on board you can grab a bunk!

Same at Kalitta, many 1st class seats and 3 bunks. If I was jumpseating overseas I wouldn't even consider a passenger plane. Not to mention our planes are catered to the gills. You'll waddle off a bit fatter.... :)

Oh, not to mention the in flight entertainment. Most everyone travels with a laptop. I personally will be carrying a small stack of DVD's to watch on legs I'm not flying....

If you're on our list... Yes. CASS has nothing to do with it, even though we don't have cockpit doors, you're listed as a "supernumerary" (spelling?)... go figure.

We are almost on the CASS list ourselves but its still a few months off I'm told.
