Just trying to verify that Comair still accepts unlimited jumpseaters. I'm commuting CLE/IAH and am going to start using them through CVG. CAL mainline is always oversold, and UAL through ORD has been a nightmare. Hoping for an easier commute, plus I can occupy the actual JS on board. Anyway, thanks any answers or advice!

Skywest FO

hmmm

You know, I've never had more than one, I've always thought one was the limit....where do you put the additional ones on the manifest sheet??

The gate agent will automatically list the other JS'rs in the cabin. It is still a requirement for the pilots to check in with the Captain even though they have a seat assignment. ALL ABOARD!

Excuse my ignorance but - Skywest has a base in Houston?

I thought they were exclusively out of SLC. Is that a recent
development?

procedures for the other jumpseaters are spelled out in the recent security directive if you have a copy (exactly what comrcap stated, but just in case you need a reference)

SLC is the primary base for Delta flights, DFW is getting busy. But don't forget the United side. Lot's of activity in DEN. Newest domicile in IAH with Continental.

The only time the 180lb and -2.9 index are calculated is if you have an actual FDJ. Otherwise standard pax weights apply. 170/175. As far as who can ride and the priority you can refer to the front of the comair jumpseat pass or on page 10-22 of the ops manual. We take as many as we have empty seats. I have had as many as four from LGA to CHS. I wish AA had the same policy.

it was only one after the strike, but obviously it got changed, it was probably some delta cr*p policy, since delta only allows one, unless it is a -400.
