Jump seat United from Brazil???

Anyone could help me out with this one:

I fly for Varig Airlines, Brazil and I live in Maryland. Everything was okay up to now as I usually jumpseated on our NY flights or ID90 on United to IAD.

Now that most of our operations have been suspended (Id tickets also) I wanted to get back home but never tried jumpseating on UAL. Varig is not listed with UAL for jump seating (Ops Specs) as far as I know.

Although flying for Varig, I hold both an FAA license and a US Passport.

Any hints on how I should go from here, or any other airlines that would take me on the jump?

im sure united has phone number to call for you to get info. Who knows you might be on their list. If not just show up and ask the gate agent for the hall pass to get security and try to ask the captain, he/she might has sympathy if your not on the list. Also bring gifts for the crew, cant hurt none.

Hop on a freighter out of VCP, there are numerous cargo carriers like Arrow, Atlas, Polar, FedEx, UPS, etc.....
