We are considering going with JSSI for our Citation 501. The engines are a couple hundred hours past mid-time hot section and the aircraft will more than likely be sold before we reach overhauls. We are a small, single airplane/pilot operation and it seems that JSSI is a good way to reduce unscheduled maintenance costs and give us peace of mind.
I'd appreciate any input from corporate operators using or have used the program - problems/overall satisfaction, etc. Any problems when using the program for unscheduled mx?
Did a thread search and I wasn't satisfied with what I found - thanks in advance.

I currently have a B-350 with JSSI and will say thus far it has been a very pleasant experience. They have been accommodating when unexpected problems have come up and carry a good relationship with the shop we use. The only drawback I can say we have experienced is their billing system. Although it is web based, I still find myself researching what they did of did not cover with each work order.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Our King Air 350 is with JSSI also, and thus far we have been pretty happy with the service. I was able to get them to pay for the engines to be enrolled with the Trend Group, and since these motors are being trended since they were new, P&W had waived our hot section intervals, they are now "on condition". Pretty nice perk that didn't cost us a dime.

Not trying to high jack the thread, but was it difficult to convince them to pay for the trend monitoring? How is the "on-condition" working for you vs the regular interval?

Thanks

No, not at all. Couple of phone calls to Matt Eads, our tech. rep. was all it took. He handled the rest of the details, all I had to do was fill out the applications. Very painless process.
