I'm quite sure they were prepared to destroy the people that a FEDERAL AGENCY told them were committing a FELONY IN PROGRESS.

The officers failed to use their judgment to realize that maybe this elderly couple emerging from the aircraft is probably not the people they are looking for.

Failed!?! Did it occur to your tiny mind that GOOD judgment is exactly the reason they lowered their guns and DIDN'T escalate things further. (No takedown, no arrest, no tazer, no dogs, no pepper spray, etc..........)

ha ha, you go on believing that. The reason they lowered their weapons had NOTHING to do with those officers exercising judgment.
After these bumbling police officers couldn't locate the aircraft's "VIN number", John King had to explain to them how aircraft don't have VIN numbers. That's when the cops realized they screwed up.

Again, don't go pointing weapons at people until you have all the facts. Just because the Feds informed the local police that this inbound a/c was stolen doesn't mean it actually was. They treated this like a felony stop for car theft.

John and Martha are ... trained with guns. . Law enforcement is at fault here by failing to threaten John & Martha's lives.

Police officers have to exercise judgment everyday, the officers failed to use their judgment to realize that maybe this elderly couple emerging from the aircraft is the people they are looking for. After law enforcement figured they were wrong, they released John & Martha , That's adding insult to injury.

Police have a dangerous job and It's obvious they were just flawed. I think the police should have been with Martha.
