I'd really like to get into aviation and i have a long way to go. I am wondering if there are very many companies that only fly day trips. How likely is it to get jobs like this, and if so can you make enough money?($60k a year or so) thanks for any help.

Good money and Day trips probably doesnt happen easily for many many years. However, there are some major airline pilots who choose to remain as FOs on low seniority equipment for the perky schedules for much of their career. I met a guy who ONLY did day trips...and worked for a Major airline. He could have been a captain but remained an FO. Getting to a major airline wont happen anytime soon but Goals are sometimes better than reality. I remember hearing once "Set your goals higher than you can achieve....so you always have something to work toward."
Try corporate. I have 2-3 RON's/mo. Just got back from APA in Denver. The rest of the week will be day trips. Overnites are good to get out of the house and not have the wife and kids yellin' at me.
