does anyone know of any flying jobs in north/south carolina area? particularly wilmington or myrtle beach?

i have been out of a flying job for a while now and, as good as the employee discount is at best buy, i really need to get back into the air where i belong.

You need to get more inland for the jobs. Check out GSO and Concord, North Carolina or that area of the state.

I concur, especially since I keep a boat in that area!! If there were a decent job in the Wilmington area you would have to fight me over it. :)

What are you looking for? I do know of an instructor opening in the CHS area.
Might get you flying until some Corporate gig opens up.

Does EVERY single thread on here have to turn political now?

Anyhoo...you may want to look at Ramp66 at Myrtle Beach. I havent heard much about them lately, but I know they used to do some check runs and other 135 stuff.

Was thinking, Mountian Air Bases a F-27 and a Caravan in ILM. You would probably have to work your way up the senority pole to hold ILM but it might be an option.

Haven't heard of them hiring lately though. They are based in Denver N.C. (CLT area)

Ram Air also bases a 402 in ILM. I think they are hiring.

Other than that, it is pretty dry around that area.

Unfortunately, I was told that the 402 runs are only an hour or two flight time per night with a strange sleeping schedule during the run, and it's also not gonna open up for the next few years unless someone dies. :D

In NC you'd have better luck hitting the charter and freight operators at RDU, GSO, ILM, CLT, and JQF.
